Initial symptoms of AIDS in men
Men have a fever like AIDS, dizziness, weakness, sore throat, joint pain, rash, superficial lymph nodes and other symptoms of “cold”. Some people can also develop diarrhea. This symptom usually disappears after 1-2 weeks, and then the patient enters the asymptomatic incubation period.
1,General symptoms include persistent fever, weakness, night sweats, swelling of systemic superficial lymph nodes, weight loss of more than 10% within three months, up to 40%, and the patient’s weight loss is particularly obvious.
2,Respiratory symptoms include long-term cough, chest pain, dyspnea, and blood in sputum in severe cases.
3,Gastrointestinal symptoms: loss of appetite, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and bloody stool in severe cases. Drugs commonly used to treat gastrointestinal infections are ineffective against this diarrhea.
Early symptoms of AIDS in women
In general, AIDS will initially sustain extensive lymphadenopathy, especially cervical, axillary and inguinal lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are swollen, about 1 cm in diameter, hard, painless and movable for more than three months. A considerable number of people can be infected with HIV without any obvious symptoms for up to ten years. But its body fluids still contain viruses. If there is dangerous sexual activity during this period, the virus will be transmitted to sexual partners. So no symptoms do not necessarily have no infection. Especially for women, the initial symptoms of AIDS are easy to be ignored.
In the weeks (4~8 weeks) of HIV infection, there may be some initial symptoms of acute AIDS, such as lymph node enlargement, rash, night sweats, headache, cough, and so on. People with high risk behaviors may be highly suspected of HIV infection if they have the following initial symptoms of AIDS, such as chronic low fever, chronic diarrhea, weight loss, cough, night sweats, etc. If you suspect that you have the initial symptoms of AIDS or may be infected with HIV, you should go to a qualified hospital, health and epidemic prevention station or other designated health departments as soon as possible to make HIV antibody testing, so as to determine whether it is infected with HIV. I wish you good health!
